What is North?
North is an AI decision partner in development. Our first focus is founders and people leaders weighing commitments that affect their teams and their lives at home. You don’t need a particular title to recognize the problem. North is being built to help you examine the trade-offs and choose your next move—not choose for you.
Why not just use ChatGPT or Claude?
You can—and they can help. North is being built around a focused decision process: identify the choice, examine what it puts at stake, choose a next move, and return to your reasoning. Whether that experience is meaningfully more useful is what we need to prove with early users. Better questions alone aren’t a proven advantage.
Why would I come back?
To revisit a choice, not just start another conversation. What mattered when you decided? Did the boundary you set hold? Does the choice still fit? Saved reasoning and reflection are planned parts of North, not active features in this preview. We still need to test whether that loop gives people a useful reason to return.
Can I use North now?
Not yet. The films introduce North, and the walkthrough is a scripted illustration—not a live AI session. The waitlist registers your interest. Joining doesn’t unlock the product or guarantee an invitation. If you allow analytics, preview interactions are counted without including conversation text in those events.
Is the waitlist also a newsletter signup?
No. North waitlist updates and The Clarity Letter are separate subscription choices. Signing up for one, or creating a North account later, does not subscribe you to the other. About The Clarity Letter.
Is North professional advice?
No. North is a decision partner for thinking things through. It is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or mental health advice. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services.
Does signing up cost anything?

Where do my waitlist responses go?
The waitlist uses Google Forms, separate from the newsletter form on this website. It asks for your first name, email, responsibility area, testing interest, and permission for North updates. Describing a decision is optional: keep it general and do not include confidential or sensitive information. Submitting does not create a North account or subscribe you to The Clarity Letter.
